About Me

I’m Jason Scholey and I set up this networking group in May 2016 when it was formerly known as Coffee and Connect Sheffield. The very first meeting was held at Couch on Ecclesall Road where I had a very good turnout. The problem with the venue being a lack of parking around the area. Therefore I decided to run the meetings at The Prince of Wales which is just a little bit further up the road and has its own onsite car park with ample parking space. The Prince of Wales was our venue for just under three years but from March 2019 it has been moved to The Robin Hood in Millhouses, Sheffield.

My main business is in Accountancy (an industry which I have worked in since 1990). I have an accountancy practice called Millhouses Accountancy Ltd. This has been running since December 2011. I have networked extensively around Sheffield and have attended all of the well known local networking groups. I decided one day that having been networking for a while that I would like to run my own networking group and that it would be another string to my bow to go alongside my accountancy business. I do still visit other networking groups in Sheffield and South Yorkshire and am a member of Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce. I am also a member of another extremely good networking group in Nottingham which meets once a month called RSVIP.

I look forward over the coming months to hopefully welcoming lots of new people from a wide variety of business sectors to the group.

Hope to See you soon
Jason Scholey
